Four men were shot dead on Wednesday night (7) in Volta Redonda (RJ). The crime took place on Rua J, in the Açude l neighborhood. The information is from the Military Police.

The victims are aged 19, 20, 25 and 29. They were in a bar at the time of the shooting. Three of them tried to run, but ended up being hit in the street.

The crime scene was isolated and underwent an expertise to help the Civil Police in the investigations. The bodies were then taken to the Legal Medical Institute of the city.

According to the Civil Police, the crime was motivated by a drug trafficking dispute. The victims were selling narcotics when they were killed by at least four suspects. Police are investigating whether more people participated in the murders.

The case was registered at the Volta Redonda police station and is being investigated. Until the publication of this report, no suspect had been arrested.
