A man identified as Clarindo Costa de Miranda, aged 38, was shot dead late this Friday afternoon (2), around 6 pm, on Avenida Castelo Branco, in the center of Vargem Grande.

According to information, the victim was in front of a supermarket, when he was surprised by two elements who were on a motorcycle and fired several firearm shots. The man was taken to the Benito Mussolini de Sousa Municipal Hospital, where he died minutes later.

The Military Police and the Municipal Guard carried out searches, but the suspects were not found. The case will be investigated by the Civil Police.
