On the afternoon of this Tuesday, November 15, a strong explosion was reported in a mechanical workshop located in the village of La Clara, Caldas municipality, south of the Aburrá Valley. According to reports, in the workshop they were doing welding work and, apparently, a spark flew towards one of the oxygen pipettes they had and one of them exploded.

Gladys González, Caldas fire commander, said that initially the inhabitants of the sector transferred the injured to the San Vicente de Paúl Hospital in Caldas. The most serious were evaluated to define their referral to more complex care centers.
