Three people were shot to death and two others were injured when a gunman unleashed a hail of bullets in what appears to be a targeted hit in Ecuador. At around midnight on Monday, October 17, a group of men carried out an attack on a moving vehicle through the streets of Esmeraldas city. Witnesses said a group of gunmen approached the moving vehicle and fired without saying any words. The front passenger and two passengers in the backseat were shot and killed. Two other bystanders were injured during the shooting. Local authorities are investigating.
