A 12-year-old boy was killed in a crocodile attack after being dragged into the Ghaghara River in Bahraich district, Uttar Pradesh, India. The incident occurred in the Tikuri village area under the jurisdiction of Baundi police station.
The victim, identified as Sunil Singh, had accompanied his uncle, Vijay Raj Singh, to nearby agricultural fields for paddy plantation work. After finishing their work, they went to the riverbank to wash their hands and feet when a crocodile suddenly emerged from the water and seized the child.
