One person was injured after a street argument escalated into a shooting in the Hoyo de Tierra sector of La Ceja, Antioquia, Colombia.

According to local authorities, a group of men became involved in a heated confrontation before one of them pulled out a handgun and fired multiple shots. The incident, which was captured on video by bystanders, caused panic as people fled the area.

The suspected gunman fled the scene immediately after the shooting. Authorities said he has since been identified and are carrying out the necessary legal proceedings to locate and arrest him.

The injured victim received emergency medical treatment at a local clinic and is reported to be out of danger.

Municipal officials described the incident as an isolated act of violence stemming from an argument and urged residents to resolve disputes peacefully. Police have launched an investigation into the shooting.
