BELFAST, NORTHERN IRELAND — Police have arrested a man following a serious stabbing incident in the Kinnaird Avenue area of north Belfast on the evening of June 8, 2026.

According to the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), officers responded to reports of a stabbing shortly after 10:30 p.m. A suspect was taken into custody at the scene, while a second man was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Police secured the area and launched an investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the attack. Detectives remained at the scene conducting enquiries and gathering evidence, including reviewing potential CCTV and dashcam footage from the surrounding area.
