A factory worker was killed after his clothing became entangled in a large gantry milling machine at an industrial facility in China.

Surveillance footage shows the worker operating the machine when his clothing was caught by the rotating equipment, lifting him into the air and spinning him violently for approximately 10 seconds.

A co-worker immediately ran to the control panel and activated the emergency stop, but the force of the machinery caused fatal injuries.

The incident reportedly occurred on January 26, though the video began circulating widely online only in recent days.

Authorities have not released additional details about the victim or the facility involved.
