An off-duty police officer reacted to an attempted robbery, resulting in the deaths of two suspects in the Casa Verde neighborhood, in the northern zone of São Paulo, Brazil. The incident occurred on the evening of April 9 and is under investigation.

According to reports, the officer was approached by two individuals on a motorcycle who attempted to carry out a robbery. Security camera footage captured the moment the suspects confronted the officer.

In response, the officer drew her firearm and discharged multiple rounds at the assailants. Both suspects were struck during the exchange.

One of the suspects died at the scene, while the other was taken to a nearby hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.

Police recovered a firearm believed to have been used by the suspects. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the incident, which is being treated as an act of self-defense.

The case remains under investigation.
