Cali, Colombia — A 31-year-old woman was killed in a street attack in the Popular neighborhood of Cali, authorities confirmed.

The incident occurred at Carrera 5N #46AC-23, where the victim was stabbed during an act of violence. She was rushed to Clínica Cali for treatment but died from the severity of her injuries.

Police arrested the alleged assailant at the scene. The suspect was handed over to the on-duty prosecutor at the Immediate Reaction Unit (URI), where legal proceedings are now underway.
