A 16-year-old was brutally killed in the Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh, India, after being attacked with a metal rod and hammer in a violent assault.

The victim, identified as Bharat Vishwakarma, was reportedly on his way to visit his sister when he was suddenly confronted by the attacker in Samanna village. According to police reports, the suspect assaulted the teenager with repeated blows using an iron rod and a hammer.

The injuries proved fatal, and the boy died at the scene due to the severe trauma inflicted during the attack. Authorities later identified the suspect as Gudda, also known as Prahlad Patel.

Investigators stated that the attack was extremely violent. Initial reports indicated the suspect allegedly mutilated the victim’s body after the killing and behaved erratically at the scene.

Police launched an investigation immediately after the incident and began efforts to locate and arrest the suspect. The case has shocked residents in the area, with many describing the crime as unusually brutal.
