A man stabbed his wife multiple times in front of their young child in a rural area of Đồng Tháp province, Vietnam. The incident was captured on video and later circulated on social media, prompting public concern and a police investigation.

According to local reports, the attack occurred in An Thọ hamlet, An Phước commune, on the evening of February 24 at approximately 9:54 p.m. The suspect, reportedly armed with a knife, repeatedly assaulted the woman despite her attempts to resist.

During the incident, a child believed to be their son was present and could be heard pleading with the attacker not to harm his mother. The footage of the attack drew widespread condemnation due to its violent nature and the distressing involvement of a child.
