A disturbing incident was captured on dashcam on the Kanpur–Allahabad Highway in Uttar Pradesh, India, showing a truck driver who was fatally crushed between two heavy vehicles while performing routine maintenance on his parked truck.

The footage shows the driver standing in front of his stationary goods truck on the roadside, appearing to clean the windshield or adjust the front mirror when another truck began reversing without warning. Unaware of the danger, he remained between the two vehicles as the gap narrowed and he was trapped.

Within seconds, the space closed completely, and the man was left motionless on the busy highway after the truck came to a stop. The incident has raised serious concerns about highway safety and the risks drivers face while conducting roadside maintenance.

Authorities are reviewing the circumstances surrounding the accident.
