Truck Explosion in Chile’s Capital Kills At Least Three and Injures Several

At least three people were killed and ten others injured when a truck transporting liquid gas crashed and exploded in the capital city of Santiago, authorities said. According to police, the vehicle lost control and overturned, triggering a powerful blast that also caused nearby fires. Preliminary information suggests that a gas leak may have contributed to the explosion.

Five of the injured were reported to be in serious condition, with some suffering severe burns. Emergency responders rushed to the scene, and firefighters worked to contain the blaze and secure the area.
