A dramatic video has captured the exact moment when a powerful lightning strike hit a Black Hawk helicopter of the National Army, seriously injuring a soldier performing guard duties.

The incident occurred today during a period of intense thunderstorms. The footage shows the helicopter parked in a green area when, suddenly, lightning strikes the top of the aircraft. The energy from the strike was transmitted instantly to the ground, directly hitting the soldier who was positioned just a few meters from the tail of the helicopter.

Following the impact, the soldier immediately fell to the ground and lost consciousness. His colleagues quickly responded, providing first aid and coordinating his urgent transport to a medical facility.

Aviation experts noted that the helicopter’s metallic structure may have acted like a lightning rod, attracting the discharge. The soldier’s condition is currently undisclosed, and an official medical report on the injuries sustained from the lightning strike is expected.
