On the evening of February 1, 2026, a man was attacked by several dogs on a busy street in the central area of Izúcar de Matamoros, Puebla. The incident occurred at approximately 8:27 p.m. as the individual was walking along the sidewalk.

According to local reports and eyewitness accounts shared on social media, at least three large dogs, two of which were reportedly pit bull-type breeds, suddenly charged and attacked the man without apparent provocation.

The victim sustained multiple bite wounds, some of them serious, and could be heard calling for help as nearby residents intervened to stop the attack.

Emergency responders from the municipal civil protection department arrived at the scene and provided immediate medical assistance. Due to the severity of his injuries, the man was later transported to a local general hospital for further treatment.
