A teenager was arrested by police on Colombia’s Atlantic coast after being caught committing theft. However, the situation drew additional attention when his mother arrived at the police station and, in front of officers, struck him in reprimand for his actions.

The incident occurred after the minor was taken into custody and brought to the station. Upon learning of the circumstances, the mother confronted her son and reacted physically, expressing anger and frustration over his behavior. Police officers intervened to calm the situation.

Authorities handled the case in accordance with procedures involving minors, and no further incidents were reported.
