An unidentified male pedestrian died after being struck by a car on the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) at kilometre 9.4 late at night. The incident occurred around 11:15 p.m. when the pedestrian suddenly crossed the expressway and was in the middle of the second lane from the right following an interchange. A vehicle traveling straight along the lane was unable to avoid him and struck him.

Police say the victim is believed to be a man between 50 and 60 years old. He died at the scene from head injuries sustained in the collision.

Authorities are working to establish the identity of the deceased and are investigating the case under relevant road traffic laws. Police have also asked anyone with information to assist with the investigation.
