A fatal motorcycle accident was captured on video along the Pan-American Highway between the municipalities of Popayán and Piendamó, in the Cauca department of Colombia.

The crash occurred near the El Cairo sector, within the jurisdiction of Cajibío, and involved two motorcyclists.

According to preliminary reports, the victim, who was riding a motorcycle with license plate LPT 56D, attempted to overtake a cargo truck on a curve and collided head-on with another motorcyclist traveling in the opposite direction.

The impact threw the rider onto the pavement, killing him instantly. The incident was recorded by a family driving along the highway, capturing the exact moment of the collision.

Traffic authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash to determine its causes and establish accountability.
