A 65-year-old street sweeper was struck and injured on Saturday morning (November 1) while working on Rua do Cubatão in Itapira, São Paulo. According to the Municipal Guard, the accident occurred at approximately 8:18 a.m. The victim sustained head injuries and was taken to the Municipal Hospital for treatment.

The driver fled the scene without offering assistance. Surveillance footage shows the vehicle hitting the woman before speeding away.
